General Education Core Courses
Requirements
The general education Core course requirement applies to all Associate and Bachelor students who have not previously met general education requirements in a Florida College System or State University System institution, pursuant to Florida Statute s.1007.25(3) and SBE Rule 6A.14.0303.
Under the requirement, students must successfully complete at least one core course from each of the five general education subject areas: Communications, Mathematics, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences, with a grade of “C” or higher.
