Applied Health Sciences (BAS), Medical Imaging Sciences Specialization

This is a specialization of the BAS Applied Health Sciences degree.

If you're a licensed sonographer looking to advance your education, Eastern Florida State College offers three options in the Medical Imaging: Sonography BAS Specialization. You can choose one of the following tracks:

Program-Specific Admissions Information: The specializations are limited-access programs; student must submit a separate application to the program. Additionally:

  • Applicants must hold an A.S. in sonography from a CAAHEP accredited program.
  • Applicants must have current ARDMS registration (any specialty) or ARRT certification in Sonography Primary
  • Applicants must be in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
